NOTD | OPI Midnight In Moscow (with Dupe details)

I'm loving this nail polish right now. It's not one I've reached for that frequently however a few weeks back I decided to ditch my normal pedicure red polish and pop OPI 'Midnight in Moscow' on instead.
I won't be sharing photos of my tooties, gosh no I'll save you from that horror! Instead I've painted my fingernails in the same polish to show you just how stunning this shade is.
Finger or toe nails, I find this colour lasts really really well, especially for a darker colour. Midnight in Moscow is a black based polish, packed with ultra fine red shimmer particles. I love how the red shimmer are enhanced as you move, giving what is a dark colour some life and a little something special.
I like to apply two coats of colour although sometimes I will stretch to three coats if I've not applied them evenly enough. Always starting and finishing with a base and top coat. I prefer separates, never buy two-in-one, they don't work as well.

I've also found you some dupes if you can't get hold of OPI 'Midnight in Moscow' as it's not part of the permanent collection of colours. I have put some details in too with each dupe to give you an idea what they are like. I don't own these shades so I've had to do a little research in my local wholesalers (where I get my hair and nail supplies from for work) and online (thank goodness for google!).

* OPI 'Muir Muir On The Wall' (slightly lighter)
* Nicole by OPI 'Shoot For The Maroon' (again, slightly lighter )
* ChinaGlaze 'X' (more red based)
* OPI 'Black Cherry' and 'Oktoberfest' are also close contenders

Let me know if you like this kind of post. I love receiving your feedback x
