It's been a couple of months since my last 'Beauty Picks' post. Today I'm sharing my favorites from September. There's a fair bit to get through so lets get started.....
MUA Pixel Perfect Multi-Blush in Pink Blossom £3 - How pretty is this blush! I mean can we just take a moment to look at it, it actually seems a shame to take a brush to it!! This is super easy to use, just swirl a blush brush over the palette to combine the colours and apply to the apples of the cheeks. I personally found 'Pink Blossom' to be very very light, however it does leave a nice glow on the skin. My one bugbear with this is the packaging, it feels very cheap and doesn't open well; to the extent I'm using a metal nail file to pop it open rather than break a nail (yes it is that stiff!)

MUA Eyeshadow Palette in Undress Me Too £4 - In short I love this palette, so much so I've done a full review which you can read here - http://www.kiziwoo.com/2016/09/mua-undress-me-too-eyeshadow-palette.html The colour range is fabulous, formula is super silky and pigmentation out of this world!
NYX HD Studio Finishing Powder 01 - Yes I've got another finishing powder in a 'favourites' post. Sorry about that ;) My local BOOTS now has a nice big shiny NYX stand so naturally I gravitated towards it. Of the products there this struck me the most. I opted for the shade 01 (translucent), to use on my undereye area and t-zone. My goodness, this powder is so super super fine it's unreal!! I can honestly say I've never come across one so fine in all my years. It's beautiful to apply to the skin, doesn't cake or cause concealer to bunch up as the day goes on. The texture is silky and it feels light on the skin. I will certainly be buying this again! Oh and the best thing.....it's only £8!
Barry M Sunset Daylight Curing Topcoat & Nail Paint (Do it like A Nude 542) - I've not had a lot of time to test these out fully however the idea behind these intrigued me. I struggle with regular nail polish lasting much more than a day so I normally use professional Gel Polish instead for long lasting nail colour. The special formula means the Nail Paint adheres to the nail similar to Gel Polish. It's easily removed with normal polish remover. I'll be sure to update you further when I've given it a good test run :) £4.99 each
Barry M 'BOOTS Limited Edition' Nail Paint in Golden Sands - It's easy to apply and dries quickly so perfect for those who are short of time. The colour is something the drew me to it, I love the neutral creamy colour with a golden shimmer; making it more than just another nude nail polish. Staying power was amazing, I wore this for 5 days straight and had very few chips. I'm really impressed with this nail polish so I've written a full review which you can find here - http://www.kiziwoo.com/2016/09/barry-m-boots-limited-edition-nail.html
Primark PS... Lip Products - Honestly I was so pleasantly surprised by these products. The last time I was in Primark I picked up the Velvet Matte Lip Crayon in Hustle £2 and two Lip Liner Pencils, Rosewood Mauve and Desert Sand £1 each. The formula on all three is brilliant, smooth and creamy so easy to apply but they have real staying power. The pigmentation is fabulous, so much more then you'd expect for the price. I have done a full review again on these which is now live if you want to see these up close. Here's the link - http://www.kiziwoo.com/2016/09/primark-ps-makeup-lip-product-review.html
That NYX powder is the bomb, I agree. But it's insane how overpriced it is here in Switzerland. 20 plus francs. Pshhhh...
