I recently popped into my local Primark store to buy a few bits for our holiday. My first impressions upon walking into Primark were not good. The Ipswich Store is still being refurbished and extended into the old GAP store so it is literally a maze once you're through the door. That said I did manage to find a lovely shirt, tapered trousers, flip-flops and pumps; all of which I'll feature in a little fashion post soon.
In the beauty area of Primark I popped the obligatory pack of hairbands into my basket; everyone needs to stock up on a pack of 50 hairbands when in Primark after all they are only £1! I also picked up another staple item of mine, hand sanitiser. This one is an exclusive for Primark and smells a-maz-ing! It's a blend of floral scents including jasmine, rose and lilac which is simply divine. I mean who doesn't love hand sanitiser?!? Again the price is just as amazing as the scent at a little £1.
Next up is a lovely PS Nail Polish in 'Marshmallow'. The colour is well a marshmallow pink, it's a creme finish and in two coats you have a lovely shiny finish. I found the colour lasted very well and would certainly recommend picking up one (or two) when you're next in store. At 80p they are ridiculously cheap yet very good quality. Finally I bought one of the PS Blush Sticks. They don't seem to have a colour name, the one I have is very similar to the 'Marshmallow' nail polish. The colour is lovely and blends very well. My problem with this is by the time I got home the blush had become dislodged from it's holder so was stuck to he inside of the lid. It made a real mess and surprisingly you don't get a lot of product considering the size of the container. The PS Blush Stick was the most expensive piece from the set and I wouldn't buy one again. It feels very cheap and like I said, it fell apart by the time I got home.
Aw noooooo, such a shame about the blush stick...
