Louis Vuitton Saumur MM

The Saumur MM was featured on my blog back in October 2014 when I used it as my handbag when travelling to Zurich, Switzerland. This is the only bag in my collection that I didn’t personally purchase from Louis Vuitton but from a pre-loved boutique in Zurich. We had it verified for authenticity in the flagship store on Zurich’s Bahnhofstrasse just for piece of mind.

Louis Vuitton says -
Celebrate the House’s signature elegance with the Saumur MM in Monogram canvas. Carefree cross-body carry adds modern appeal, while exquisite cowhide leather trimmings accentuate its feminine shape.

This bag is very spacious and versatile which is what drew me to this style. I can wear it with the strap at its maximum length across the body. Or I can double up the strap and carry it as a top handle bag. This is what I’d call the commonly seen Monogram Canvas, not that that’s a bad thing, it’s just you see a lot of this canvas and colour round (although I have been told by one of the sales assistants this is NOT one of the oldest materials used in the Louis Vuitton house).
The Saumur MM bag has two generous sides, one of which has a good sized pocket. Both sides of the bag are secured with an adjustable strap and buckle, with gold finished hardware. The straps and trimming is all made out of cowhide leather, which as I’ve said before, darkens with use. The dimensions of the Saumur MM are as follows -
11.8 x 9.4 x 4.7 inches ( length  x height  x width )

I found this one is perfect for traveling with as I can store everything I need within two sections. If you have any questions about this handbag or the others featured on my blog please do contact me xx
