Lazy Girl Nail Art | How To
Today's 'nail' post is a little different to my normal style. This post is called 'Lazy Girl Nail Art' quite simply because all three of the looks featured today are that easy to recreate everyone can achieve them! Each of the images has details of the colours I've used and how I've created them so let's get started......

#SuffolkBloggerMeet October 2015
On Saturday I attended my first blogger event, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous! The event was set up by the wonderul Daisy of daisydaisyxxo.co.uk in Bury St Edmunds, which fortunalty for me it was is just up the road (Yay). The morning of the event Emily from emgrace.co.uk and I decided we'd meet up in Bury and go together, this eased my nerves when it came to walking through the door!
The Suffolk Blogger Meet was held in a bar called LP in Bury St Edmunds town center, very close to The Arc shopping area. Location wise it was perfectly situated and I'm certainly going to go there for food when I'm next shopping in Bury. Back to the event....

Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi
I know Summer is technically over however I wanted to share my thoughts on the Scholl Express Pedi. I'd been thinking about getting one but held off as I wasn't 100% sure how I'd get on with it. Call me old fashioned but I like my standard foot pumice and the results I get. After seeing a friend of mine recently who had nothing but positive things to say about her Scholl Express Pedi I took the plunge. And let's be honest, if a girl friend loves it what better recommendation! I picked mine up while in Tesco (they had £10 off) and I have to say it's be best electrical item I've bought in a long time!!!
The Scholl Express Pedi comes with one 'roller', 2 x AA Batteries and a protective cover that fits over the roller when not in use. It is so easy to use, simply switch it on and the roller starts to rotate. Apply gentle pressure to the area that needs attention and the pumice does the work for you. Honestly thats it! Although the Express Pedi isn't waterproof it's recommended to pop the pumice off to clean after each use; there is a little blue button (visible on the photo above) that you press to release the pumice.
I won't scare you with before and after photos of my feet but I really did get results from the first use. Plus it was so quick and simple to use, no arm ache from using a standard foot pumice or trying to bend yourself into odd shapes to reach the bits you want to smooth!
My only complaint is the protective cover doesn't clip into place so as soon as I move the Express Pedi the cover falls off. Maybe they aren't a snug fit? Is it a design flaw or is mine faulty?? That aside I'm super happy with my little magic wizzy pumice, have you tried the Scholl Express Pedi? I'd love to hear your thoughts :) x

L'Occitane Shea Skincare Range
I am so behind in writing this post up! As much as I love skincare products, I do find it hard to write about them on my blog. Thus I end up sidetracked and show you more pretty makeup and nail polishes! So the day has finally come.........here is the L'Occitane Shea Skincare products I have been using since their launch (February I believe?).
I bought the 5% Cleansing Oil, Gentle Toner and Light 5% Comforting Cream. All have a wonderfully light Shea fragrance to them so it's not too overpowering on the face.
The 5% Shea Cleansing Oil can be used on either dry or wet skin. I use it on dry skin as I feel it removes my makeup for efficiently. It is a lovely silky formula which I work over my face and neck then with wet hands I emulsify the oil into a milky consistency, then rinse.
Next onto the Gentle Toner. Now I will say I've never been one for toners and this is why. To me they just feel wet and I end up flapping my hands around my face to dry off before putting on my moisturiser. I've used less product on a cotton pad and still have the same result. It does, once dry, give me a nice base for the Light 5% Comforting Cream......
The Comforting Cream is exactly what it says on the jar. Considering this contains Shea the cream is very light and airy; almost milky to touch. A small amount of cream goes a long way and I found it soaks in nice and quickly so I'm able to get makeup application done swiftly in the mornings so we can get to school on time.
They are very good value for money too. The Cleansing Oil 200ml is £17, Gentle Toner 200ml is £15 and Light Comforting Cream 50ml £26. I have repurchased both the Oil and Toner and they have run out just as I finished my jar of Comforting Cream. Basically I used two Oils and Toners to one Comforting Cream. Not bad when you think about it like that!
Overall verdict is a good one. Although the toner isn't my kind of product I did use and repurchase it as I like to use the correct system when it comes to skincare. I have oily/combination skin and these didn't aggravate my skin at all or cause breakouts. If you like the L'Occitane Shea products these are certainly ones to try in future. Enjoy xx

If you follow Kate from The Small Things Blog you would have seen her 'Fresh In Fifteen' video (the link is above^^^). I decided I was up for the challenge so filmed my makeup routine before heading out the door to get Little Miss to school.
