Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer - Worth the hype? Lets see….
First I need to point out I paid far more for this concealer due to being in Zurich at the time. Heathrow T5 didn’t have Vanilla in stock, so I went into Jelmoli on Bahnhofstrasse to see if they had the colour I needed. They did and 45chf later (£32 at the time of purchase) I had my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer.
Here’s a little about this cult favourite - It’s a long wearing, lightweight medium to high coverage concealer that is easy to build up. When applied it makes the skin look smoother and obscures imperfections. It also diminishes fine lines and signs of fatigue. Paraben-free, Alcohol free, Synthetic fragrance free, Non comedogenic.
So is it worth the hype?
I have really enjoyed using the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and it covers my blemishes with ease. The formula is super creamy so it works well as an under eye concealer without looking heavy (I only needed a few little dots, and blended it with my finger). Although Vanilla is the perfect shade for my under eye area and for Autumn/Winter blemish covering, as the Summer kicks in I’d need a darker shade to act as a concealer.
I can’t find anything I don’t like about the Nars Concealer, however I’m not sure it’s worth £22. Plus I’d have to say there isn’t much difference in my opinion between this and the Maybelline FitMe Concealer. Both have a wide range of colours and a fabulous creamy consistency.
Would I buy it again? Honestly the jury is out on this one, I think I’d need to use it longer to really decide!
I've heard amazing things about this one and now you're praising it too, damn... :-) Guess I'll have to try it next time I'm at Bongenie.
