L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint

I’d been looking for a new foundation for the Summer months and decided to try L’oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint (yes it has a very long name, so to make things easier from now on I’ll refer to it as De Teint!). I had used the L’Oreal Nude Magique last year, which was great, but I fancied trying something a little lighter on my skin.

Now the first thing I should point out is that this foundation is incredibly runny. It does require a good shake before using the foundation, as the liquid layers tend to separate. The De Teint bottle itself is a gorgeous frosted glass which gives it an expensive feel. It does lack a pump though, which I feel it would benefit from, as getting the foundation from the bottle can be a little tricky.  I found it easier to dip a thin concealer brush in, and then apply it to my face and blend in with either my fingers or a foundation brush.

The De Teint foundation feels fabulous on my skin, it’s light weight formula is easy to work with and blends well. Although based on my own experience when I first used it, I’m not 100% sure if this would suit dry skin. I found it clung to, and emphasized, the few dry patches I had on my skin. Luckily my dry skin episode was just a phase and it’s been a joy to use since. I bought the shade 110 Warm Ivory which so far has been perfect for my early Summer self tanned look. Without a tan I think it would have been a bit dark for me. De Teint foundation has an SPF of 18 and comes in a 20ml bottle size.

Have you tried this foundation yet? I’d love to hear your thoughts on it :)
