Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Micellar Water has become big business this year. We’ve seen people going crazy for the ever popular Bioderma but if like me you haven’t had the opportunity to try it then here’s one I think you’ll love by Garnier. But lets start from the beginning shall we - What is Micellar Water and how does it work??

“Garnier Cleansing Micellar Water is an easy way to remove make-up, soothe and hydrate the face, eye area, and lips, in 1 step without rinsing. The Micellar technology in an all-in-one cleanser. Like a magnet, the cleansing agents capture and lift away dirt from the skin. No need to rub to remove impurities and make-up.”

I really love Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and have been using it every day since its purchase. In morning I’ll apply a small amount on a cotton pad and go over my face to make sure any impurities are removed before I cleanse and prep my skin for makeup application. On an evening I use this to remove my makeup before I take a shower. I tend to then use my cleansing gel and facial brush to gently remove any left over dirt from my pores; leaving my skin feeling super clean and ready for my toner, serum and night cream.

This is fabulous at removing all kinds of makeup from full coverage foundation, highly pigmented eyeshadows and long wear lipsticks. I found there is no need to scrub or tug at my skin; simply apply the Micellar Water to a cotton pad and sweep over the face.
The other nice thing about Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is its contains no nasty chemicals so its extremely gentle on your skin and safe to use on the delicate eye area. It also doesn’t have a fragrance of any description, if you smell the liquid in the bottle or on a cotton pad there really is nothing there!

Have you tried Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, how does it compare to Bioderma?
