Eylure Individual Lashes

I've been toying with the idea of lash extensions for a while now, but 2 things put me off:
1) the cost - these are super expensive to have done and I just can't justify paying all that money out for longer lashes.
2) the maintenance - you have to go back to the salon 2 weeks after the first appointment to have them topped up. I have a toddler so this isn't something I want to spend my time doing.

After popping into the city I spotted these 'Individual Lashes' by Eylure*, and decided I'd try them out. These lashes are said to be Semi-permanent making them a good alternative to lash extensions.

I love how you have 3 lengths to choice from - Short, Medium and Long. The idea being that you apply the short lashes on the inner corners, medium in the middle area, then long on the outer corners.

The instructions also say to apply 7 to 14 pieces per eye. I personally found the 'long' lashes to be too long. So for my eyes I used the 'medium' on the outer corners, then the short in the middle, leaving the inner corners natural.

Overall I was very impressed with how comfortable the lashes were; I've tried strip lashes before and didn't like the heavy feeling of them. They also don't appear to look too fake,  so for me these are fabulous.

Available from Claires

  1. Ι think I need to try these because I don't like applying fake lashes ad it looks weird to me (on me). But I had seen these and this review helps a lot, the result is really nice ¨)

  2. I really like these and because I dont use many at a time I find they last a really long time, I tend to put little ones towards the outer corner of my eyes to give some volume!

    1. Thanks. They do look very natural and no need to apply eyeliner to hide the strip as you often do with strip lashes. They lasted about 5 days but it really depends on how gentle you are with them.

  4. HOW do you manage to get them to stick? I am good with strip lashes but the glue for these just did not seem to stick to my eye no matter how much I tried. Maybe I'll give them another go but they just seem to refuse my eyelids, haha! Look great on you though!

    1. The key to getting these to stick properly is to allow the glue to go tacky before applying to your lash-line. I used tweezers which made it easier and more accurate xx

  5. The result is so natural, nice! I prefer individual lashes over a full strip. It looks better, and is easier to apply.
