Your going to love this fabulous twist on the classic French Manicure!
I spotted this look in the May edition of a trade magazine I buy. Its a very simple look to do at home. All you need is a natural peach colour polish for the base and 5 different rainbow colour polishes.
I used my OPI New York City Ballet 'You Callin' me a Lyre' as the base. Then a selection of the Essence Polishes for the 'french' tip part.
I applied two coats of my base colour polish over OPI 'Start to Finish' (which protects the nail). Once you've applied your base colour and it's dry, select the first of your rainbow colours and carefully paint on the french tip. You need a steady hand and please take your time. If you make a mistake you'll have to take everything off and start again :-(
After finishing all of your nails allow to dry slightly before applying your top coat. Try to avoid dragging the brush over your fresh polish as it could smudge.
Finish off with a generous spray of Rapid Dry to set your nail polish, and then a drop of Cuticle Oil.
And there you have it - The Rainbow French Polish
