So as I said on the blog insert this is my review of the Babyliss Root Boost
My hairdresser Mel had told me so much about hers that I figured it was time to invest in one myself. After all, my hair has become fine since having our daughter and doesn't appear to be thickening up.....what better excuse for a new hair tool :-)
So what is a "Babyliss Root Boost" ?
Well in essence it is a micro hair crimper. It works by crimping the area of hair near your root - hence giving you lift and volume. The Root Boost has 3 heat settings going upto 200°C which means the results are long lasting without the aid of hair-sprays. Plus, like most hair tools are now, it has ceramic plates that heat up very quickly.
Check out the video below to see how they work......
I love my Root Boost and feel it was well worth buying. I would strongly recommend this for anyone with fine to normal thickness hair who wants a bit of a boost. I'm not sure how good these would be on thicker hair, but I'll try to find a Guinea Pig to try them out on :-)
**TOP TIP**
Be careful not to crimp the hair by your hairline, as you will see this when you have finished.
RRP upto £35.99
Here's to full hair every day xx
